Grain harvester RSM 161

RSM 161 harvester is designed for harvesting all traditional grain crops — spiked cereals, bean cultures, oil plants, cereal and arable crops. Efficient combine with productivity of approximately 45 t/h makes it possible to process up to 2,000 ha per season.

The new Luxury Cab cabin features panoramic glazing, screen-wiper, and handy side mirrors. When it comes to space it is one of the largest in its class beating the nearest rivals by 30 % on average. It features ergonomic seats both for operator and assistant with improved working seat adjustments to the operator’s individual requirements. The cabin is equipped with the highly efficient climate control system. There are storage spaces for personal items, tools and food. The harvester is fit out with the last generation on-board information system Adviser III featuring 10-inch color touch-screen monitor and innovative user’s interface with functions generally accessible at one, two at the most, menu levels.

High-power and fuel-efficient Cummins 380 hp engine

RSM 161 features a high-power and fuel-efficient 6-cylinder Cummins QSL8.9, L6, 380 hp, St-IVf engine. A large torque reserve (25%), simple design, low maintenance costs are coupled with high fuel efficiency.

Straw walkers with large separation area

6 efficient straw walkers providing an overall area of 9.4 sq.m and autonomous rethreshing unit will ensure that crops are harvested with minimal loss. Shaking amplitude of walkers is selected especially for getting maximized recovery of grains from the straw mat.

OptiFlow efficient cleaning system

For material cleaning, an OptiFlow double cascade cleaning system is used, which features a proprietary suspension for sieves with an area of 7.1sq.m. A powerful optimized air flow, large drop height and precleaner tine grid significantly improve cleaning performance. The chaffer uses the ‘wave’ sieve technology - fishbacks are of different sizes. This proprietary solution ensures a more uniform distribution of the air flow and prevent sticking of highly bearded heads in the sieves. The cleaning system utilizes a 6-vane double flow turbofan with electrically controlled louvers; fan speed is controlled from the cab and displayed on the control panel. Cleaning of the sieves and components is easy, the sieves can be quickly adjusted by the operator from the cab.

TETRA Processor threshing system

The Tetra Processor system features a flexible concave with automatic electronic clearance control over the entire length. A huge threshing area of 3.3 sq.m and separation area of 6.1 sq.m (in total amounting to 9.4 sq.m) ensure active separation with minimum damage to grains and straw, including in the most complex field conditions. The Tetra Processor threshing system is built on two dia. 800 mm drums, which ensure consistent and gentle threshing without loss. Dia. 750 mm separator boosters facilitate a smother crop flow. 1 650 mm of width allows for a combine capacity of 45 tons per hour.

High-capacity feeder house

features a stone trap and single hydraulic multi-coupler, adjustable angle for higher performance and ease of harvesting of any crops without making any modifications, with quick connection of adapters (headers up to 4 500kg).

Luxury Cab featuring Adviser III system

RSM 161 combines are provided with the new Luxury Cab. As soon as you get inside you will feel how comfortable the operator station can be, and you will be pleased with the comfort that really adds to performance efficiency, less strain and fatigue. The Adviser III voice information system continuously monitors the threshing performance and functioning of combine mechanisms for process stability control and avoidance of components failures.

Power Stream Header

The Power Stream ensures a higher performance by reducing loss and optimizing the material feeding. The use of this header in combination with the original cutting unit (driven by a planetary gear reducer) minimizes shattering losses and ensures consistent uniform feeding whatever harvesting conditions may be. The reel is hydraulically driven, featuring synchronizing automatic adjustment of the reel speed to match the ground speed.

Chopper/spreader

2-speed chopper/spreader improves the feeding of straw to windrow. It can effectively handle grain and tilled crops, with activation from the cab. A large number of knives and counter knives ensure high quality chopping. Straw spreading width can be controlled from the cab (option), an optional chaff spreader can also be installed.

Quick unloading

A large-capacity grain tank with improved unloading into a truck with sides higher than 4 meters, with hydropulsators (vibration agitators) and electrical unload rate control from the cab. Clean grains is stored in a 10 500 litre tank. Such capacity increases performance efficiency by reducing unload cycles. Unload rate is 115 L/sec, it takes 2 minutes to empty a full tank. Grain can be easily unloaded into any type of trucks and trailers, while using a header with a width up to 12m, when harvesting rice unloading can be done without leaving the bay. For fuel efficiency, the thresher drive can be disengaged.
